RACE to Be Human is a 45-minute documentary that explores racism and its impact on the mental health of children and adults. This film addresses the apprehension and confusion so many of us feel when it comes to talking about race and racism. It also shares how we can participate and build empathy through conversations at home, work, and school. RACE to Be Human includes strategies and tips to check ourselves and others while inspiring self-reflection so that as individuals we are more aware, and as communities, we can move forward more equitably.

The movie screening will be followed by a 30 min. panel discussion. We will have a moderator and an opportunity for the audience questions (written, which will then be collected for the moderator).
