Not Really So Scary Animal Program with Live animals -ALL FULL

Thursday, July 142:00—3:00 PMAuditorium Brewster Ladies' Library1822 Main Street, Brewster, MA, 02631

Some animals like sharks, snakes and spiders we think of as scary, but are they really when we learn more about them? Many seemingly “scary animals” have really important jobs in nature, even helping people! Don’t miss meeting some not really so scary animals too!

Presenter, Joy Marzolf of "The Joys of Nature,"  has a BA in Biology and has been doing animal-related education programs for over 20 years. One of her favorite things to do is break people's misconceptions about many animals, especially those that people fear, such as predators including sharks, reptiles and spiders. She's worked with marine mammal rescue programs in MA and a variety of captive and non-releasable rescued animals in Oregon. She's worked with reptiles in he wild and in captivity. Most recently, she was a Naturalist and Educator at Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary for over 13 years.

Registration for this program is required. Recommended for kids 5 and up.
