Evening Book Group: Velvet Was the Night

Thursday, March 175:30—6:30 PMZoom

Join us for a discussion of one of the best books of 2021, “Velvet Was the Night” by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. Set in 1970s Mexico City, the book follows the stories of Maite, a secretary, her neighbor Leonora, and Elvis, an eccentric criminal. “Velvet Was the Night” is an edgy historical novel for lovers of anti-heroes and noir.
