Discovery & Enrichment Series: How Town Government Works

Have you ever wondered how town government functions and about the impact you can have on decisions? Brewster Town Manager Peter Lombardi and Selectwoman Cindy Bingham will discuss their roles and responsibilities, the work of volunteer committees, and the importance of community engagement in town governance. They will also review the town’s latest strategic plan and be available for questions.

Lombardi has served as Brewster’s Town Manager since 2019. Prior to that, he was the Town Administrator of Wenham and the Director of Policy and Administration and Grants Administrator for Winthrop, Massachusetts. He is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and the Massachusetts Municipal Managers Association (MMMA).

Bingham has served on the Brewster Select Board since 2016, including two terms as Board Chair. She is Select Board liaison to the Brewster Housing Authority, Community Preservation Committee, Council on Aging, and Housing Partnership, and she is a member of the Pond Property Planning Committee.
