So much of the focus today is on the future of the bridges that span the Cape Cod Canal. After all, these structures provide a vital link to this community and beyond. This program, however, will take a look back in time.

What spanned the waterway before? How did our bridges come to be? And what was their impact? With the aid of historic images and film, Samantha Gray, Park Ranger with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, will explore these stories and more during this 45-minute presentation and Q&A.

Ms. Gray has worked at the Canal for more than 25 years and manages the Canal’s Interpretive Services and Outreach Programs as well as the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
