Mary Mazzer is inspired by patterns found in nature and architecture. She has been influenced by the zentangle approach, and utilizes pens, pencils, found objects, and other items. She has no formal training, just a voice that has finally found expression - without judging or trying to fit into a mold.

Kalo Maloney started painting 50 years ago. Her father was a commercial artist, and as a child she watched him create signs, labels and logos. The paints were accessible and she experimented with them often. She attended DuCret School of The Arts in Plainfield, NJ. Kalo was mainly a portrait artist at the time, while making a living as a color separation artist for the textile/wall paper industry. She has recently retired and is finally able to spend her time and energy with her passion for paint. She is inspired by the brilliant light, colors, seasons and weather conditions of the Cape, particularly the ponds at Nickerson State Park near her home. Kalo also enjoys painting portraits; she is intensely interested in both nature and human nature.
