Wednesday, April 122:00—3:30 PMAuditorium Brewster Ladies' Library1822 Main Street, Brewster, MA, 02631

Join us for a colorful and informative program led by celebrated naturalist Peter Trull, who, through photographs and discussion, will explain how birds have evolved and adapted to their environments. He will provide a habitat guide of Cape Cod birds—from the sea to beaches, woodlands, marshes, and ponds. He also will review the field marks that identify our avian neighbors. Trull has been involved in the research and education of marine birds, coyotes, and whales for over 45 years. He has coordinated seabird protection and research programs on terns and piping plovers for the Massachusetts Audubon Society and researched species of terns in South America. Trull has also served as Education Director at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies. He holds an MA in Education and recently retired as a seventh-grade science teacher at the Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School. He is also a successful author, with a new book titled Cape Cod—Once Around the Sun.  This program will be offered in person and via Zoom.
